Information

Greetings,

Here's a deck inspired by Ageless Knight. There's not too much to say about it. The idea is to build up as much armor as you can to pump up Ageless and to bust your opponent open with relic weapons. Pretty much all of the cards are geared towards building armor. Here are a few quick things to mention:

1) Conspicuous Traveler can be really good at the right time. If she cost 3 or less, I think she'd definitely be a 4-of. As it is, she's a little expensive, even though her passive ability can really boost your relic weapons. If she is in play with either good ole Longbow or the Plating, your opponent is in trouble. You might be able to put her in at 4 copies if you run something like Miner's Musket to help reduce the cost of other cards to offset her being a 4-drop.

2) Relatedly, I initially had Jadehorn in as a 4-of, but his corrupted cost is often too high to use. I like him at 3 copies as of now.

All this to say, 3 each of Traveler and Jadehorn works well, but both could be considered somewhat of a spot of flexibility if you wanted to add/remove a copy of one or the other.

As for the market, Massive Greatsword is the only one I'm not absolutely sold on. It's good if you build a ton of armor, which you can with this deck. I also like Foxfang Katars in case one of your units gets stunned or something. Other options are Ageworn Vestige for the board wipe or Ancestral Edge for the lifegain.

Anyways, have fun!

UPDATE: After further testing, I believe I underestimated Furious Magniventris in this deck. It's really been the star card in my games, especially in combination with the Longbow. And really, the deck can be customized as long as the core engine of Ageless Knight, Jadehorn, Conspicuous Traveler, Magniventris, Pangolin, and Auren Condemnation are included. The supporting relic wepons and spells needed to support this core can be quite varied.

I'm currently testing a quite similar idea with some added spice with market plea the aid and some heavy 1-offs in deck. I'll tell you later how is it going :)

That's awesome. I'll look forward to seeing what you conjure up. I'm not great a deckbuilding, so I know someone can make the core concept of my deck into something better. A one-of version of this deck could be really fun.
maslovk Edited Eternal Version: 23.12.06
I think I've maken a stable version (tbh I'm bad at deckbuilding). It has great success in Casual and can climb in lower Ranked (silver)
FORMAT:Throne
4 Justice Etchings (Set9 #79)
4 Ageless Knight (Set15 #506)
2 Tax Collector (Set3 #113)
4 Adamantine Pangolin (Set1145 #10)
4 Auren Condemnation (Set1115 #9)
4 Jadehorn (Set8 #70)
2 Monarch Cloak (Set14 #469)
4 Winchest Merchant (Set4 #126)
4 Armorsmith (Set1 #163)
4 Furious Magniventris (Set1125 #10)
4 Ossuar Longbow (Set14 #27)
4 Throne Warden (Set1 #514)
4 Stormhalt Plating (Set12 #92)
1 Svetya, Merciful Orene (Set1005 #12)
1 Kairos, Grand Champion (Set7 #155)
5 Justice Sigil (Set1 #126)
4 Emerald Waystone (Set3 #101)
4 Crest of Glory (Set4 #243)
4 Rakano Banner (Set1 #427)
4 Rakano Cylix (Set9 #184)
4 Rakano Tome (Set13 #176)
---------------MARKET---------------
1 Counting Room (Set13 #72)
1 Great Save (Set14 #75)
1 Plea for Aid (Set10 #139)
1 Harsh Rule (Set1 #172)
1 Massive Greatsword (Set9 #106)

Basically I made deck more reliable on armor gain and less on relic weapons. Tutoring Kairos (or Svetya vs heavy control) is very fun ^_^
There are some flex spots I'm thinking about like market Harsh Rule or powerbase.

Thanks for sharing your list. I love Kairos decks, and I bet it rocks in this deck. I think I'm going to play around with it bc it looks like a lot of fun!

Digging this deck! I'm surprised it's not played a bit more. I made a change or two based on the cards I had as I couldn't afford everything, but they seem to work well (Svetya, Demand Justice instead of Winechest Merchantx2, Ageworn Vestige, and Gates of Hope for another Winchest Merchant and 1 Tax collector). I also find myself very tempted to throw in something like 1 Gift of the Daimyo, and 1 Rift's Edge. Regardless, it's winning for me, so I'm having fun with it.
leonsaid Eternal Version: 23.12.06
I'm glad you're enjoying it! I actually almost put in Rift's Edge b/c I think it could work well in this deck. There's definitely room to switch a few things in/out. I feel like Protect the Gates and Tax Collector could both either be in the deck itself or in the market. And I initially had Gates of Hope in the market but took it out before really testing it. Really, any beefy relic weapon can fit into it. I've had games where I only used the Cloak. and I think it's the weakest weapon in the deck. If you try Gift of the Daimyo, let me know how it works.
BadgerW4 Eternal Version: 23.12.06
I will definitely be happy to test out Gift of Daimyo for you. I've used it before in armory decks before, and it really is a maintaining winner as a lot of people forget the basic tenet, that if someone board wipes, it gives you a unit to start with the next turn. Add on to that you get a free random weapon draw, and it seems like it would fit nicely in this deck--not as a 2x or 3x or 4x, but just as a 1x in case you get in some of those brawls. I don't feel badly about using fewer tax collectors, and Svetya is a serious boon to this deck as she stuns anyone who attacks you, and then adds +1/+1 to everything in your deck when attacking, but maybe that's just a playstyle thing.

I actually have thrown a rarely used card "hone" into the market because it seems like it would fit nicely with what this deck likes to do, and I find myself reaching for it if I get an early Warren Delivery as I know for sure I can use it at some point, either as a weak relic weapon, or to just boost the heck out of any of the other relic weapons. I'm considering pulling it, though, for some kind of board wipe, like a harsh rule, though, frankly, even after 10 games or so, I haven't found myself on the defense yet.
BadgerW4 Eternal Version: 23.12.06
Forget Gift of the Daimyo... too often I was without the influence to play it at 5 power, or even 6 or 7, but Rift's Edge, at this point, I think is an absolute must for AT LEAST 1 of them. It's been the difference maker in several battles for me at this point.
leonsaid Eternal Version: 23.12.06
Thanks for the update. I think I'm going to have to test it out with Rift's Edge. I've also been testing it with a bunch of 1-of relic weapons after reading maslovk's comment. And yeah, I think the deck needs board wipes. I took out the Greatsword from the market and added Pristine Light and I think it works a lot better. I might even stick a Harsh Rule or something in it. The deck has a lot of room for improvement.
BadgerW4 Edited Eternal Version: 23.12.06
You know, the deck may have room for improvement, but I still think it's an excellent deck. I don't make gold very often because frankly, I don't play enough (I have three accounts, and play until I've cleared a daily slot and have my daily win every day, but nothing beyond that), but this deck has gotten me to gold with one account and silver with the other 2 because it just keeps winning. Sure, losses here and there, but by and large it wins like crazy for me. I would also encourage you to swap out the Winchest merchants for Svetya, Demand Justice and play with that some. The cards in the marketplace aren't make or break cards, but Svetya short circuits any regular attack by the enemy. I'm also considering throwing an Orene's Scepter in the marketplace, and perhaps even a Helena Skyguide to pair with Furious Magneventris should you have one out there and your opponent has a ton of small units he keeps blocking with.
leonsaid Eternal Version: 24.01.17
I'm glad you're enjoying it. I get a lot of wins with it too. And I've tweaked it a bit here and there to try and improve a little. For example, switching out Torch for Defiance seems like a good move. I'll try Svetya and Demand Justice. I think the deck's biggest weakness is against those that do chip damage. Stuff like Street Urchin and Cabal Scavenger usually wreck me hahaha.

I've also played around with adding shadow influence so I can play Repurposed Wares. It seems kinda clunky to add another color just for a single card, but it can work sometimes.
