I wanted to make a deck that's focused around Hero of the People, but not make it entirely dependent on it. All other cards make a pretty decent board presence on their own. Perhaps not a deck that'll carry you to master rank, but I find it very satisfying and enjoyable to play

Rise to the Challenge is added for more consistency. Early on it can be used to fetch a hero or a weapon for Bartholo, the Seducer. Later on it can guarantee a nice finishing move by grabbing Soulfire Drake or Icaria, the Liberator.

Thinking about adding Protect for enabling combo's over multiple turns.
