Got masters with this last month, will probably again but haven't gotten to play enough. I have personally had the most success with these builds leaning into weapons. A few notes:
- Power sources is super high between
Seek Powers,
Copperhall Bracers, and
Lystia, Flighty Mistral. Not only is this because Expedition is fairly inconsistent with mediocre power bases, but also because you desperately need to hit 6, where
Patrice, Your New Home will win many games.
- The spot that has changed the most for me is Aeda, Heretical Forgemaster. It should be another 3 drop unit, but I've used Youngblood Tactician, Adamantine Pangolin, and Unseen Commando. I think Aeda works best in this deck. Regardless, I think this slot is for helping with large units, which is the weakness of this deck, and Aeda lets you get big weapons when you need to remove something (though hopefully most of the time you're just getting to suit something up bigger and bigger.)
- On that note, when in doubt, just slap something big on a unit and go to town. That's sort of what we do here, and you'll win a lot of games because the opponent just doesn't have an answer.
