This deck has been performing unreasonably well for me lately. It has been my primary ladder deck for the past couple weeks, and got me to my first masters, then my first top 100 masters. Shen-Ra is a nonbo with a lot of the cards here, so feel free to substitute your 1-drop of choice if you don't want to shell out for legendaries. She's definitely the optimal choice but not by so much that it isn't fine to switch her for something else.

Any feedback on the market is welcome, I'm really not sure if it is optimal currently.

Think the deck is viable without inquisitor’s blade? I’m mainly a drafter and only have The Jekk and Horrus campaign cards.

Elder's Feather is a reasonable way to get some evasion, though it certainly isn't as powerful. I would imagine that the deck is viable with that switch though!

I don't have Shen Ra but have Akko. Do you think that or Oni Ronin is a better replacement? And have you tried Lay Siege in the market?

I guess I haven't tried Akko, I haven't seen him played in many Throne decks so I'm under the impression that he isn't quite good enough but I could certainly be wrong. Definitely worth trying out if you have him, let me know how he plays!

I'm playing Reinvigorate in the Lay Siege slot in my new version, it would surprise me if that wasn't correct. You don't go that wide with this deck, so the buff on Reinvigorate as well as the permanent endurance gives it a wider variety of applications. Lay Siege will certainly have its moments against something like Skycrag or Stonescar, but I doubt it's that amazing in the mirror and it is pretty lackluster in most non-aggro matchups. If Hailstorm was a bigger part of the meta right now Lay Siege would be the way to go though.

In what situations does flame blast outperform Obliterate? Emblems make reaching 7+ power very rare, so aside from "Stuck on 3/4 with opponent at 3/4 while still having FFF," I feel like Obliterate is just a straight up better market choice.

Already supplied my commentary to your comparison on my decklist, but just wanted to say I love to see that Rakano is still doing great in all its forms. One thing I forgot to mention on my commentary is the suggestion to have 4 Whirling Duo just because of how strong both charge and lifesteal are, but that being said, the only thing I could see cutting would be the 26th power which I feel is a personal choice, so I can respect that too. The proposed changes also look good. Congrats on first time masters and first top 100 masters - what that means is that in additition to a great deck, you are also a great player. Congrats!

I do love Whirling Duo, but I've been really happy with the 26th power given how hard it is to flood out with 8 emblems.

Thanks, it feels like I've been absurdly lucky because I've lost like 2 games since I've been in masters. Currently rank 31 and afraid if I push my luck it'll break and I'll run myself right out of top 100.

Maybe I'll run into you next month in Masters :)

I haven't played it too much, got from around rank 60 to rank 31 in a few games then moved on. I'm pretty busy with other things and have focused my eternal time on getting to masters in Expedition (which I did!). I'll be playing it a lot next chapter though, will update the main deck once I've had some real success with this version. I do think it is the better one though.

What do you think about Rampage or Daring Maneuver instead of Finest Hour? Overwhelm could be really useful for the bigger units, especially for Empower/Renown effects of Hojan and Sharpshooter as well as Commando buffs and Weapons

So it's good against permafrost, but if I wanted anti-permafrost cards I might just add bore, right? Permafrost isn't THAT popular right now anyway. I could still be sold on it, would love to hear about the other situations where it is excellent.

can confirm deck is busted just went 14-0 from diamond 2 to masters only subbed one shen ra for frontier jito.

Yeah this thing has given me some insane win streaks. Glad to help :)

Frontier Jito doesn't seem like a good fit for the deck at all though, would much rather have something like an Oni Ronin in that slot.
