First Flame Shenanigans

Firstly I want to make everyone aware that this is not a deck to take into ranked play. Its fun and can do some crazy, crazy things but unfortunately it cannot compete at the highest levels of play. However if you have the cards or the resources to to craft it then give it a go as its a lot of fun!


This deck revolves around using Dramatist's Mask to morph any creature we create into First Flame. As First flame is the only unit in our deck it is always created and thanks to the mask sacrificing the unit each turn it will always trigger the tribute affect!

We hold multiple removal cards to keep us going until we are able to combo and spells like Inspired Prank and Assembly Line to create the units. Additionally we also hold Dragon Forge to increase our chances of pulling the mask and Garden of Omens to give us access to any of the spells regardless of our circumstance.

In your starting hand you should always try to get a Dramatist's Mask or a Dragon Forge and any of the unit production cards. Also you should never take a First Flame in your starting hand unless you have a Strategize to shuffle it back into your library.
