A riff on camat0's version of TJP Midrange that finished in second place at the ETS on May 19, 2018. The main change here is that I replaced 2 copies of
Mirror Image with 2 copies of
Knight-Chancellor Siraf.
With the addition of
Svetya, Orene of Kosul I think this archetype got catapulted from a solid Tier 2 into Tier 1. The deck can struggle somewhat with consistency but it is one of the hardest decks to interact with when it is firing on all cylinders. It has a bad matchup against Praxis Tokens but has a relatively strong matchup against most other decks and I think it is currently the premier climbing deck right now until other decks start to adapt to it's popularity. Cards such as
Suffocate can really set this deck on the back foot, and that's really where you want to be as the opponent.
