Since the first version of this deck went on to become sort of popular on the Eternal Subreddit, I decided to mind some of the tips given there and build a deck focusing more on the keywords Killer and Overwhelm, combined with the Infiltrate effects.
Currently I'm grinding Gauntlet on Masters with this deck and have almost everytime at least 6 wins (only exceptions are if I get power or influence screwed, which is pretty rare).
Also I didn't include merchants/a market in this build, but that should be implementable pretty easy.
So, how does this work?
You want your infiltrate units to hit your opponent's face to fill his/her deck with beautiful junk, namely
Scorpion Traps and
Firebombs and also giving them
Disciplinary Weights. Every card they draw because of the destiny effects will cost 2 more. And it's going bananas when you have at least one
Thundering Kerasaur on the board - and draw every time a bomb or trap activates!
But why should you play spells yourself then, especially these cheap ones? Well, your opponent needs to draw these bad boys at first, that you can benefit from Kerasaur's effect - and also the weights kick in again!
Since I simply love firebombs I couldn't resist and added
Flamebelcher in this deck and shuffle the opponent's deck with
Lumen Reclaimer (which has the nice side effect to shuffle the traps and bombs already drawn back into the foe's deck).
