Thanks for your comment :) Maybe it's because I built it over the course of countless versions, but it works pretty well for me. But yes, it is a slow and grindy deck in a lot of games. Nothing to do a fast ladder climb with, for sure.
My first version had Rolant's Intervention actually, but since I only ever needed it to give that first original Makto Aegis and need to be at 7 anyways to go off with Strength of the Pack Protect made much more sense, nerf or not. This way it saved me a lot of times already from dying to burn, discarding my precious spells (or worse, Makto) and a few times I could even use it to pop their Aegis so my removal hit.
