So, decided to tune Praxis some more for this meta. Gameplan is fairly simple--ramp up, gain power advantage, beat down. Unlike most other midrange shells, you have Heart of the Vault and Xo to keep cards flowing that only Praxis can give you. 3 shatterglass main for all the new relics going around, along with the latest bot on the block, moonstone vanguard, and the Praxis Arcanum. Usually one of the spells from here will be a dud, as it'll usually just target a dork, but a viper's bite to force through a teacher or a value trade is a great deal, and of course, a charging moonstone vanguard is awesome.
Darya is all sorts of terrific. Oh, and did you know that both she *and* moonstone vanguard have pledge? You're basically never getting power screwed with this deck, though influence or flooding can be a little more of an issue, and there are many hands that turn into keeps because they wind up shaping up to be pledge -> waystone (cast treasure trove -> cast merchant -> put plan into swing)I.
Not sure if an Ixtun merchant would be the better pick here, or what the best market option would be. Crafted a Pit of Lenekta because Ace was playing a pit control deck, and I thought "if all else fails, maybe pit of lenekta might outgrind those control decks".
In any case, Praxis, even without serious support in set 5, still has some cool new toys--namely putting the value dragon together with the new reliquary bot, and plays like it always has in the past--lots of warp value-y goodness, torch, and ramped out fatties to beat faces in. Also, if trail makers aren't exactly your persuasion, feel free to try temple scribes or even friendly wisps if you're feeling adventurous.
