The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
Such a shame this deck did not work on camera today... Congrats on the absurd record this year though, following you has been pure joy these last couple of months :)
Anyway, may I ask you why did you choose yo play such a streamlined and uninteractive strategy at this tournament?
The deck is fun to play and I think it's pretty good, although there were a decent number of lifesteal-heavy decks at worlds so it didn't end up making it all the way.
This deck and WWH combo are very different decks, and the meta keeps shifting, so it's hard to say which is better. I like West-Wind Herald the most when slow decks like temporal are popular so that you have time to assemble the scattershot + west-wind herald combo. I like this deck when the opponent doesn't have too much lifegain or hand disruption so that a bit of chip damage and a single hit for ~20 is good enough.
Part of the reason that I brought this deck was that I expecting Feln to be somewhat popular, and in my experience this deck does well against Feln midrange because the Feln deck usually spends all of it's power on big units on turns 5 and 6, which is right about when you are ready to go all-in on a big burst of damage.
Almost once again comes through with another galaxy brain list in tandem with the TGP brain-trust of OTK masterminds.
OTK decks in the past revolved around Rapid Shot as the 2 damage pump spell and Haunting Scream while this current list maximizes the value of Reinvigorate and unblockable, allowing for the card to provide upwards of +8/+8 by itself (in magical christmas land).
In the more common scenarios it provides +6/+6, which in a deck with double (berserk) and quad damage (berserk+DD) can be absolutely devastating.
The 8 merchants allow you to assemble the combo pieces more reliably as well as get access to a pseudo 5th Rilgon's Disciple in the form of Rilgon, Hooru Operative, which for the purposes of this deck functions the exact same at the cost of being more expensive and dual faction.
Another neat detail about this list is that Vara's Intervention can double as a Dark Return for your Rilgon units.
if anyone would like to know the maths of some of the lines in this deck, i had too much time on my hands (now updated with reckless):
