Information

I don't know who came up with this combo first (maybe GT100?), and I built my version from the ground up so that it is more than a meme. It has real survivability and an inevitable combo (minus void hate of course.)

Fair warning that if you're anything like me, this deck is going to be challenging to learn. But oh boy once you get it, it is one of the coolest combo decks in Eternal! This deck is literally unlike anything else, and that is because of the incredible synergy of Tome of Horrors and Kindo Shadowstep. These two weird cards get even weirder together with Haunting Scream.

I won't spoil the surprise, but in case this makes no sense at all, the basic idea is that Tome discards which damages Kindo which discards more which damages Kindo which discards more which damages Kindo... etc. And with Scream and Dark Return, Kindo has enough health to hit mastery which basically mills the opponent to death. Be careful here, there are so many ways to screw this up, I can't even list them all.

Once you know what to look for and avoid though, this combo deck is super fun to play as almost nobody sees this coming.

Bonus tip: You always want either a Tome or Merchant in your opening hand. Without the Tome, you are doomed. Finally, don't play a second Tome unless you already know you have given up on the Kindo mastery and are going for a Dreamsnatcher lethal or some other crazy beatdown/mill play. This deck does have multiple outs, but you really want to play for the main line.

Feel free to ask questions, and I'll explain how I ended on this version.

Why Fell Ritual and not other kill spells?
djwarpt Eternal Version: 1.49.3
You have to have enough health to survive long enough to pull off the combo. A common play is Dark Return the Draconus to help stabilize.

Whats the purpose of Socrato?
djwarpt Eternal Version: 1.49.3
Socrato is a mill boost. Play him anytime after Tome for a quick 7 card mill.

This is great. Do you always try to reach Kindo's mastery in two pops? What do you think about Solitude in the market?
djwarpt Eternal Version: 1.49.3
Yes, there are multiple ways to hit 6 damage on Kindo the first time, and then you either Scream on Return to finish the mastery. You can add Solitude to the market, but honestly you just don't need it. It's much slower than Kindo.
