This deck got me from rank2 to rank1 and while I usually would not post a deck that got me 1 rank higher I had to go 30-6 to get there. Howling Peak is the second best card in the game behind jennev merchant. Welcome to defiance. Check out my article on tgpeternal.com https://www.reddit.com/r/EternalCardGame/comments/a8f9x1/windy_peaks_deck_tech_by_the_amazing_mrnotimeman/?st=JPYMJK9W&sh=8b676a93
Pick one.
BTW top whatever in Oklahoma in mtg for a couple of years means nothing to anyone if you aren't top of the leaderboard visibly in Eternal. It's proof of your knowledge in mtg, clearly not in Eternal....
Just sayin.
Jotun Hurler, is, in my opinion, never worth it to play.
But really, it's just about card advantage which is worth everything.
The creator says it's supposed to be proactive, but then designs it to be among the slowest decks out there. If your opponent applies any pressure, at all, you're forced to try to play catch up with a west-wind herald, a peak with no blockers, or a hurler and a snowball.
Sry, just ain't seein' this one.
It's really good vs. decks that don't play more than one creature in the first five turns, though.
I know what I'm doing when it comes to card games. I was top 8 in constructed in mtg for like 5 years in Oklahoma.
I don't know why you're mad at me. I didn't build this jank. I'm just calling it what it is.
I've play tested it (I even read the write up, which I hardly ever do, because after how terrible it performed, I WAS convinced I was doing it wrong, but, nope, doesn't even do what it's supposed to do nearly ever).
I know how it's supposed to be played (which is all I was trying to say by demonstrating that I have some card game competitive experience. You are the simpleton that keeps acting like I thought I was the mtg God or something), and this deck doesn't deliver. I'm sorry that rubs you the wrong way.
And, by the way, if you can't see the numerous similarities between Eternal and Mtg, then I can't help how retarded you are.
If you don't believe me, you play this and I'll play Face Combrei, and we'll see how often you win. Now, at this point, your vagina is, no doubt, salivating at the opportunity to try and put words in my mouth, implying that I'm saying Face Combrei is the best deck out there using some poorly thought out sarcastic remark or another, but that's the point I'm trying to make. Face Combrei should get crushed by control almost every time, but this deck doesn't even do that very well. No, it's too busy trying to play west wind or jotun hurler on turn 5, or hoping, desperately that your opponent is dumb enough to play into your hailstorm instead of slamming down that that Feast-Caller like he just did.
At least Almost's Twin Peaks version plays need-to-answer Feast-Callers, removal that actually works in this meta (albeit a little pricey on the Feeding time side), and most importantly, other threats besides the most mundane combo ever constructed or a flying 6/6 your opponent has all the saved up removal for (again, desalivate your vagina. Xo is a great card in a lot of cases).
Hmm.. the Scattershot you miraculously, finally, survived to turn 10 to pull off? Uh, equivocate... or annihilate... or deathstrike..., or torch... or...
The ladies must be beating down your door. Maybe they're willing to overlook the casual sexism for a chance to be with the MtG King of Oklahoma lol
Your mom seemed okay with it.
Well, at least you ceased your sarcastic condescending remarks and are now asking legitimate questions.
I haven't checked out hojan killers by atherllama yet. Is that deck pretty good? I glanced at it a few times, but haven't yet checked it out, myself.

It's obvious that Alessi is the best 1 drop in the game, but a 1 drop it remains, I guess.
You don't see mtg players playing decks around Ornithopter because it's the best 0 drop creature in the game...
I exaggerate, I suppose, but I've just not had any real luck with her. Perhaps I'm just not playing the right builds. Mostly, I've played Alessi spells (which I admit is probably not the best Alessi build), and I end up pumping Alessi throughout the game and then centering her around swinging and using equivocate to stop their stack-block from killing her. Still, I was even less impressed with Dark Alessi.
"Allessi" Alessi seemed kind of neat but never got the chance to try that one out.
I'm curious how well Hojan Killers makes use of her.
I did change out the seek powers for Ixtun Cargos though. It's a rare fight when I'm ready to drop Xo and don't have 3 reds, especially since I'm conscious of this before I allow the cargos to turn into contrabands.
I'm aware an early drop of one of these does clue my opponent in on what I may be running as well, but I consider both of these risks worth the added value of contraband. I can be really clutch sometimes!
But I do get that some people prefer to min/max invariance rather than allow for some RNG and hope for the best. I prefer the higher ceiling and am willing to tolerate the lower floor. :)
I wanna make a deck that can be upgraded into this one.
This is at it's core an Ixtun (FJP) control deck.
Also, quick Q. when would you attempt the scattershot herald combo? I never had a chance to use it or needed the gimmick to win a game? I almost never pulled a herald from the market unless there was nothing left.
Thanks
I thought it wouldn't hurt to have two. So I shaved some of the cards down. To make room for two harsh rules, as well as Eilyin. Because I have been able to consistently (and by consistent I mean whenever I draw her before turn 6) play her on curve and sometimes you get lucky to copy her.
Then...I was having trouble fighting against other sites, since this decks main interaction is our units that can be blocked easily, Burn em all from the market and my Eilyin's summon ability, so....I was crafting and got a nifty card by chance called Phoenix stone and boy...I'm not turning back from this as a 1 of that absolutely love.
