Information

This deck is based heavily off f0x's 5F control deck. Although I've made some slight modifications, credit for the overall idea and much of the deck goes to him.

What is the idea behind this deck?
This idea behind this deck is to play as many Cylixes as possible because Cylixes are a good card.

How should I play this deck?
Play a bunch of depleted power early to get your influence counts up while using cheap removal to not die. Then start creating Treasure Troves and outgrinding your opponent.

How should I use the cards in this deck?
Torch, Defiance, Equivocate, Stormhalt Knife and in some situations Display of Vision are your anti-aggro cards.

Petition, Strategize, Honor of Claws and Display of Knowledge help you fix power.

Harsh Rule clears the board in an emergency.

Xulta Arcanum, Martyr's Chains and Pit of Lenekta are your win conditions. Note that Xulta Arcanum helps you play more Cylixes, which means it essentially draws you cards. It also has synergy with the empower triggers from Martyr's Chains and Pit of Lenekta and the Xultan Exiles are good targets for being buffed with Martyr's Chains. Display of Knowledge functions simultaneously as removal and as a big relic tutor.

Think ahead about what your color requirements are and play your Petitions accordingly. Sometimes you won't need undepleted power and don't have the influence to create a Treasure Trove, so you can fetch Crest instead of Cylix. This is why there are Crests in the deck.

Silverblade Menace kills control decks, including the mirror. It also kills some self-mill decks.
Saber-tooth Prideleader kills both aggro decks and relic decks.
Malediction is for clearing boards of small units, such as tokens or aggro.
Lumen Reclaimer counters both Reanimator and mill decks. Its secondary purpose is to act as a secondary win condition against very slow decks by ensuring that you do not run out of cards while your opponent can run out of cards. Remember to Equivocate their Reclaimer in the mirror and save Displays of Instinct to stop their Equivocates on your Reclaimer.
Battle at the Gates is there to instantly win the game against both Severin Reap and Trove OTK. For Severin Reap, you should cast it after they have declared attacks, and for Trove OTK, you should cast it in response to the first End of Hostilities. Also, you can sometimes use it as a Deathstrike that goes through Aegis in an emergency, for example if you are trying to play around Icaria the Liberator or a huge Buh-ton.

Use Transpose to protect your own face and pop your opponent's face Aegis. You can end step Transpose to pop their aegis and then cast Silverblade Menace. If they don't have their own Transpose they can't stop the Menace summon from landing. You can also Transpose in response to relic hate or a big burn spell directed at your face. In general Transpose is better in this deck than in most decks because you care a lot about protecting both your relics and your face, as well as popping their face aegis.

You will win a lot of games by burning your opponent out with Tranposes, Torches, Displays of Instinct, Stormhalt Knife beats, and/or Silverblade Menace summons.

Card Choices
I cut the Memento Moris because they were bad cards. Then I cut Calibrate because it wasn't pulling its weight without any Memento Moris in the deck. I put in Honor of Claws and Strategize because those are good cards, especially with Troves as food.

I replaced 1 Defiance for a Pit of Lenekta because I found myself discarding or marketing away my Defiances a decent amount and I found myself wanting a big haymaker relic and not being able to draw it a decent amount. If you're encountering a lot of aggro, you can cut the Pit and put the Defiance back in.

Matchup Tips
Respond to Reap by Equivocating their Severin.

You can use Display of Vision to clear tokens.

Stormhalt Knife backed by a Transpose is very annoying to deal with if your opponent is on control.

In the mirror, whoever plays Xulta Arcanum first has a much higher likelihood of winning.

In this meta, Display of Instinct is frequently most devastating as a counterspell, not a Mortar. For instance, Reap, End of Hostilities, At All Costs, Transpose, Flame Blast and Grasping at Shadows.

Noice deck! For the market I kept reclaimer silverblade menace and prideleader and swapped the other 2 out with cremate and rejection, then swapped the torches for sears to deal with sites. Malediction is still nice, but since you good removal already felt it wasn't needed as much for me personally
