For those wisp lovers like myself, I present this deck. The addition of
Twinned Spiteling adds some heavy lifters to this somewhat forgotten archetype, considering the obscene amount of void hate out there. Thankfully, in Gauntlet we don't care for void hate much.
The idea is, as always when wisps are involved, give deadly wisps killer, and re-use them while buffing them until they are big enough to win the game, or your opponent has ran out of units to defend. This last set added the much needed market card:
Time Etchings, that ensures you get to your minimum of 4 power and 5 time influence to get the deck running. Also,
Desert Alchemist, a card which I expect to be nerfed really soon. It's stupid strong.
Watch out for those Gauntlet decks that run void hate (I'm looking at you Apex Predators). You should have no trouble getting to the boss. At that point, it's a matter of lack with the boss selected (as there are some really hard matchups, like the spell focused one (the one that creates units for every spell played) and the new one - something something Burns - that gives decay to all units).
Take into account that
Soulbringer won't bring back a cero health wisp, and that
Time Etchings can be countered, negating access to your market but still exhausting a unit (which seems to be a cost of the spell).
The deck probably needs some tuning, so please help me brainstorm. I haven't found any 3 power unit that I like, but I'm sure you guys are much more creative than me.
Hope you enjoy.
Edit. Didn't like devour. Added 2 shadow merchants instead, they work nicely with killer and give extra access to site. Just played a couple of times against new Gauntlet boss "Sibling Rivalry" (upon reaching 5 influence on any faction for the first time, play the corresponding scion). This deck makes it a breeze.
Edit 2. I had somehow missed the existence of cylixes. Crafted the four relevant ones. Maybe will add some extra time sigils for the Etchings
