AP Midrange D3-Masters Oct 14-15

My friend sent me a list a few days ago because everybody was talking about how bad Primal was right now, and he felt Midrange was the place to be. He (more or less) threw this together and I started playing it. And then I kept winning. When this deck started out, there wasn't a market, which was the first big mistake. There are too many decks to not be able to answer when you need one.
As for numbers on most of this list, there are a lot of 3s and some 2s, but this wasn't an issue at all. Every card in the deck has uses in a variety of games, and I found that the diversity of the cards we were running allowed us to have an out every game.

One thing I'd considered changing toward the very end of my run to Masters was having a power in the Market. There were a few games when I'd really wanted one, but every time I'd look at my market, every card in there had earned it's spot. If you were going to add a power, I'd remove the Devastating Setback.

I may be able to provide a more in-depth analysis of Matchups here later when I have the time, but from my experience, the only 2 decks that I was not looking forward to playing were Stonescar and Nightmaul. Nightmaul would just inexplicably fill my hand, and by the time I was ready to start slamming things down... Maul... here have another Maul

For Stonescar, the issue against that deck is that it really just has the best answers for your strategies. Statuary Maiden shuts down Makto and Stonepowder, ICB shuts down Makto and Marley and Stonepowder. They have a variety of big, flying creatures. It's just a slugfest to 0.
