Information

This started out as a meme deck but the OTK (double damage spells to face) turned out to be surprisingly reliable. The sheer number of damage spells make it incredibly reliable against aggro and with urn of choking embers, peaks, and Xo, it can grind out most current control decks. I included 4 caldaran cradles after the buff but I'm still testing it right now. This deck is just so much fun.

Whats the general stratergy? hold off on casting spells under bladerang is up? How useful has cradle been?
faux_gg Eternal Version: 1.42.3
So originally the plan was: Get card advantage with killing aegis with urn of choking embers and using spell damage for efficient resource expenditure. That was usually enough space for the OTK. With the time heavy meta right now, this deck becomes far less efficient, although it still has an incredible matchup vs aggro, nightfall, and scream decks. To keep playing cradle in it, the win condition becomes more of a value/grinder deck and so I would take out the combo and aim for better efficiency. If OTK or burn is the goal then I would take out the cradles, add in spell damage or more cycle. I am not sure, I am going to make two new versions because the deck as it stands is a bit confused in the current meta.

Thank you!

Idk, When you start your turn with Bladerang, Howling Peak and one Smuggler in place you do 6 damage with the Kaleb's Favor, followed by an Obliterate for 14 damage and a Signal Flare (6 damage) or a Torch (8 Damage) looks like enough damage for an otk. But hard to keep all those in place for one turn.
Btw .... 100% winrate? ... do we really have to start with clickbaits here? :D
faux_gg Eternal Version: 1.42.3
Sorry for clickbait haha. I mean it was 100% winrate, but only top 500 masters so it wasn't like top 100 masters or something. It loses pretty hard to ftp

In how many games? 5?
faux_gg Eternal Version: 1.42.3
20 or so. I got lucky with matchups though and some of it was pre-patch, so the meta was very fjs heavy. Pre-patch the deck focussed more on the combo.
mauric Eternal Version: 1.42.3
damn thats nice. well done!

erm.. just so you know.. OTK means One Turn Kill.. IE. you can win the game in ONE turn. Not cumulative burns.

Don't get me wrong. I'm loving the decklist and I'm going to try it later but its not really a combo/OTK deck.

It's an otk. Bladerang-maul or bladerang little spells is plenty of damage as long as you've maintained card advantage.
