TL;DR Ramp, fix, and play big threats :)
Seek Power and
Amber Acolyte both provide much needed mana fixing.
Trail Maker also provides fixing, but with the added benefit of ramp. Obviously, he is extremely fragile, and dies to snowball, but his primary function is to fix for us.
4x
Torch, 3x
Vanquish, and 4x
Kairos' Choice are the deck's removal suite.
Kairos' Choice can also be used to dodge spot removal or board wipes. You can also use it to get another
Heart of the Vault trigger. I run 1 copy of
Ancient Lore because 26 power +4
Seek Power Amber Acolyte lets curve out. I am considering -1 Acolyte and +1 Ancient Lore.
Like every other 3 color deck, we run some merchants.
Pearl Abbey Smuggler and East AnnexSmuggler can fetch our market cards.
Sword of Unity is great on 6, especially if you can stick it on the absolute beast that is
Worldbearer Behemoth. It goes well on anyone, though. The more units, the better.
Harsh Rule is good for killing units.
Bore is decent vs armory, mill, ramp decks that utilize the ramp attachments... It is a versatile card. Personally, I always prefer to run power in the market, because it makes your games more consistent in terms of sticking your top-end threats. Because of that, we run 1x
Praxis Insignia. Finally, our market also has a copy of
Sol's Rest. Who knows if it is just a win-more card in this deck. I love casting it, though :)
Back to our maindeck;
Icaria, the Liberator is a 2-of top end unit. We get to 7 power pretty easily and frequently, but the influence requirement is a tad restrictive. Finally, we run one of this set's new sites:
Xulta Arcanum. It's fun, it protects iself, it ramps you, it generates advantage. Fun stuff. Leave feedback on whatever.
