Information

This is basically Djwarpt's Even Midias OTK but with Brenn over power stone and some extra Granite Waystones for the Tota Pioneers. I thought it was just a top-notch meme at first but then it took me from rank ~250 to 18, the highest I've been in throne so far!

The main plan is to pump Midias to ridiculous strength and kill with him in the air, sometimes over multiple consecutive turns. Be on the lookout for 2-turn lethals that don't involve a Midias, and make sure not to tunnel vision on only using Sol's Rest only for lethal! Against decks without board wipes it can be better to decimate Sol's rest and spend your extra turn developing a huge board that they won't be able to deal with than to let it rot in your hand until lethal is available, and you can often 2-turn lethal just with a board of dorks and a pioneer to pump a bit.

A version of this deck with merchants is potentially even better since seek power plays great with Pioneer, Midias and Brenn, Xo plays great with merchants, and East Annex Smuggler fetching a big weapon seems like a great thing to slam after decimating a sol's rest. I'm looking forward to trying more Midias decks now that I realize what a bomb he is! Midias Jennev moment, anyone?

Sick list have definitely lost to it a couple times In masters, ravaged is just mad you did well with a list that’s not straight meta
OneAntic Eternal Version: 1.51.6
I think they may have tried playing it and gotten burned a bit, there's definitely potential to just die to aggro before you get to go off, and the punish for not playing around opposing removal can be extra feelsbad when it denies such a fun combo. Thanks though :)
djwarpt Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Awesome! Looking forward to trying your version!
OneAntic Edited Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Thanks!

Cool, I got to try it out, and Brenn, Chronicler of Ages is amazingly dope in this deck. Like you mentioned, it is now possible to hit the 14 power to play Midias and Sol's Rest in a single turn. That's something I NEVER did with my version. Also, Sear is just super helpful for staying alive. The one thing I think you might've missed out on is the Kairos' Choice is a way to protect Midias at 8 power to help you beat hard removal. I ended up updating my list and keeping both it and Sear. I think I might love this deck even more now if that's possible.
OneAntic Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Sweet! I'm glad I could make improvements to an already awesome list. I made the change partly because sear goes face to find surprise lethals and partly because it's just so sad to have grazer pull choice on an empty board against unitless control, but you're definitely right that having some extra protection for midias is valuable. I think I'll try to find some space for them again, but maybe not the full 4, to minimize the chance of bad grazer hits?
djwarpt Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Yeah, so basically my response was to remove one of the grazers. It can be amazing with Volatility, but it feels like most of the hits aren't that impactful. I updated my current list Even Midias OTK.
Ravager Edited Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Fantastic deck to play if you just want to continuously die to aggro and sacrifice decks. Or control decks.
OneAntic Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Aggro can be rough but I'm absolutely shocked to hear you're have trouble beating control with this deck.
You might be running midias out too early, most control decks will give you enough time to get to get to 14 mana with end of the barrel and then midias/sol's rest in the same turn so that only fast removal will save them.
Ravager Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Control decks all run several counterspells and royal decree/rain of frogs, all of which ruin the gameplan. I think the deck only works if nobody knows what you're playing.
OneAntic Edited Eternal Version: 1.51.6
The most common hand disruption package I've seen in controls decks is a one of either in market or to be grabbed with Garden, plus re-read. All 3 of sol's rest, midias, and tota pioneer would have to get frogged to fully turn off our burst damage potential, so a control player would need to run hand disruption in both main and market, and cast them all before I would consider the gameplan ruined.
I think you're being overly harsh.
htraos Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Also Annihilate, Ice Bolt and Equivocate, all of which are very common removal.
Ravager Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Don't forget defiance got unnerfed!
MickyS Edited Eternal Version: 1.51.6
Been waiting for someone to crack Midias! Thanks so much.

This deck looks super cool man! I've also been wanting to try some Midias decks for a while, but I'm not much of a deck builder so thanks for the list!
