This deck started out as a fun experiment and turned out to be quite viable. The aim of the deck is to win by acquiring overwhelming advantages through either
Navani, Warsinger or
Tavrod, Auric Broker, both of which are greatly enhanced when paired with
Warhelm.
While the aim of the deck is to win by charging in units with on attack effects, it still has a great deal of control capabilities and flexibility, winning through relic weapons or even a single
Statuary Maiden is not uncommon at all.
All stars of the deck:
Tavrod, Auric Broker: Just a huge body with an extremely strong draw effect, will win the game if left unchecked.
Navani, Warsinger: Your main plan against control decks, one swing with a warhelm is often enough to make your relic weapons extremely hard to deal with.
Auric Sentry: Will often win the aggro matchup by itself, gives great trouble to other decks to remove while buffing your topdecks.
Statuary Maiden: If left alone will give you an incredible amount of value due to all the removal this deck runs, while keeping void shenanigans in check.
Other cards to consider:
Lifedrinker: Will really improve your aggro matchup, run if your meta has a good deal of aggro.
Valkyrie Enforcer: Used to have x2 of these in the deck to compliment the maidens and have a good curve, later removed for
Privilege of Rank and an extra
Sword of Icaria
