Been playing a lot of TJP decks lately, wanted to try something more all-in so I decided to try a Hypermana approach. Made to go over most other decks, with ridiculous turns like this 24 power line: Clutch on a unit + 5 Amplify, 6 Owl TGP, and SoU+Spellcrafted to make a full board of flying Aegis Tokens.
-Hit Master this month with this+ my Temporal deck, with this deck doing all of D1.
-Updated for Homecoming, still testing out cards.
-Testing out some new cards from set 6, so far it's just been Tocas.16-3 so far for first days testing.
-Post Chain nerf pulling the deck out, have to see how many Chains I want to run. Put Palace back in since CoT/TGP after Palace is nuts. Giving Aids a try again, +2 Aid -2 Chains. 29-11 up to D1.
-Testing a couple changes for a tournament. 40-18 to Masters for June.
- 48-22 and forgot to continue keeping track the following day. Testing out some changes in the Ramp like usual.
-Testing out a Chainless build with Siraf as an early blocker and an army-in-a-card. Completely reworked the manabase.
-Some more changes, a bit less ramp.
-Back to a version with more ramp in the 1-2 cost slot. With so much ramp in the 2-slot I need to put something good to hit at 4. So I'll try some more Aid and take out Palace for now.
-Hit top 100 for July with the deck from ~250-->62 on an 11-4 run. Did most of Masters with this and Temporal, of my recorded games it went 41-14.
Originally I was running just the Merchant but having the extra consistency is too much to pass up so I threw in Winchest in case I wanted Chains in the Market. Auralian+GVS running a black market is an option though, running just Core in the Market and slotting in something else for Ambassador. Not sure what I'd replace it with, any idea?
Won't hurt to try anyway so I'll see how it runs.
I don't think this deck necessarily wants chains in the market.
Its possible passage should be disjunction. I've been playing against nothing but bore decks with removal for the dorks.
If you put the ambassador back in the main, I'd cut one find the way and play an equivocate or pit. Also, try disjunction over passage?
