Information

The new Mouth of the Hermit card just seemed so cool when I first saw it, so I knew I needed to post my first deck in awhile!

The name of the game is spell value and synergy in Feln colors, so we can use one of my other all time favorites: Haunting Scream. To that end, we've got Haven Augur to grow with every spell and stop our spells from being negated or punished by Aegis. Most of our spells are capable of doing damage (even if it's to us with Dangerous Gambit) so we can grab them off the top with Grenahen. And of course, we pull even more spells with Jarrall Ascending! Given the amount of removal in the deck, Centipede Keeper hits a lot of Hunts, which helps load the enemy void for Mouth so we're ready to get back any spell we want. It's also removal and another ping spell, with some much-needed Lifesteal. Rounding out the unit lineup, we have Direwood Pack to take advantage of all the removal and help with influence for Jarrall, and Nico, Urban Hunter, who sees plenty of recursion with all of our pings.

Fun synergies that I really enjoy:
The star of the deck is in the market: Savagery turns high-value units into killing machines. Stick it on Pack to punch huge damage through and grow it at the same time! Put it on Nico and have ready-made Killer removal with every ping that grows stronger each time it's used! And best of all, do both! Because with Mouth on tap to bring it back, there's no need to be conservative with it.

Toxicology finds a natural home here: you can pitch Nico for it, or set up a unit for Scream. And once you've put Deadly on a copy, it stays forever! So if you use Mouth to grab it back, it's essentially just a 2-cost unconditional kill spell with no drawbacks! Similarly, if you buff Heavy Hail and then grab it back, it keeps the buff and can even be buffed again with an additional discard!

On the Hail note, many of your key units have the potential to grow large enough to avoid it: Jarrall, Augur, Pack, and even Centipede Keeper are dodge possibilities.

Things I'm Workshopping
I'm not sold on Contaminating Ritual, I don't think I've pulled it even once. If you find something you like, let me know!

Really enjoying this deck! One thing I was curious about is Feln Adept. It may be a pet card of mine that I try to jam too much, but maybe it could work here? With all the snowballs and a minor frenzy theme with Nico, you know? I haven't found the Haunting Screams to be super critical, although I might be looking at them the wrong way.

This deck looks really cool, nice job!

I'd replace Contaminating Ritual with any of these:
* Pick Clean
* Secret Passage
* Sinister Rumors
* Swear Vengeance

Contaminating Ritual is just worse than Final Push I'm pretty sure.

Yah the only reason I used Ritual was because I wanted to permanently put Lifesteal on things, cuz I was worried about taking damage from Gambit, but I don't think that's as big a deal as I thought. I'm thinking something like Wildlands Scavenging instead, something else entirely besides buffs.
