Since the Light the Beacon nerf I haven't known what to play in Expedition but marvin reminded me about praxis-heavy ramp decks https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/bZz-pikPwbA/knight-chancellor-siraf-ramp which is essentially this with a justice splash
I've played FTJ a bunch too and I get frustrated with the power base and general inconsistency in this format (can we get some plunder?!) and also I have a big lack of Siraf's, so if you're like me, try this!
The meta is like 50% aggro right now so Lunar magus is actually really great unless it gets
Camrin's Sniper Rifle'ed, not that it replaces what
Knight-Chancellor Siraf is good for (though it's sooooo rando).
Secluded Druid is even harder to kill though is also a speciously bad replacement for
Dran the Farmer but she blocks a lot of aggro garbage
The other 50% is midrange, so playing
Predatory Carnosaur feels SUPER necessary to take out all things 5/5 - and otherwise this deck is pretty ready for the attrition and board stall of the mid-mid matchup
This market is also really good - I still want to work in
Unlikely Pack for the board stalled mirror, though
Snoozing Sloth plays this role and is generally more useful with Save the Day and moreso
Fallen Winter seeing play.
Trail Scourge is amazing against hunt decks and
Hive Queen Uther has been a really good stabilizer, if not a little greedy. Taking out an
Unstable Hellion wearing a Bow recently with the
Emperor Cobra was the most fun I've had in Expedition in weeks
Uther's Triumph is ironically the thing I miss most about not having the J splash but that's cause it's really fun to play 7 cost game enders
Why only 3 skysplitter and not 4?
How good is this?
