Do you like burying people under mountains of card advantage?
Do you like playing ginormous dragons and beating ass?
Do you like galaxy brain plays set up turns in advance for absurd lethals?
Do you think the gold and red are by far the best color combinations in Eternal?

Of course you do, so here's the deck I made to do all of that.

Inspired by those dudes that made the Praxis Midias Combo deck, plus my own desire to do something with Midias ever since he was spoiled I decided to take traditional praxis mid and go nuts with the dragons. Midias is essentially a 5/5 for 6 with 4 upsides, one of which can make him absurdly large. Unlike other Midias decks, this is nowhere near the only wincon. Besides the other dragons, Tota pioneer can make things nutty, and when combined with praxis Arcanum giving deadly, you can make nearly anything a credible threat. I've won games with a 9/1 deadly overwhelm Initiate. A 12/4 Quickdraw, Overwhelm, Deadly Eclipse. A 22/5 Midias. Dual 16/16 overwhelm sentinels. I'm not even joking when I say the amount of ways to win are legion, and its fun to find new ones all the time.

You will also outgrind literally anyone. Between ridiculous treasure trove generation, mega volatility hits, and Distillation, you will win most games with like 8 cards in hand. So they killed your Midias, who cares I'll just draw my entire deck and get another one.

However there is one big downside: the Stonescar matchup is not great. if you don't have sear in your opening hand for Warleader, you basically lose. If they drop ChaCha on 3 fully maxed, you probably lose. I've won this matchup, but I'd appreciate any thoughts as to how to shore up that matchup. I thought about Charchain flail, as it's one of the few ways to kill ChaCha and other big creatures, but please put your thoughts in the comments.

So why this instead of Stonescar or Skycrag dragons? Because Praxis is cooler? Yeah pretty much, but also faster because of ramp, and bigger with Moment, and can draw more cards.

So why salvo instead of torch? because Tocas is a beast and I still wanted a market that didn't involve Auralian merchant. In addition, Salvo can be chained with Disjunction and Kairos Choice during the opponents turn with Eclipse dragon. I'm open to changes here if anyone thinks of something.

I'd really like to fit Ramba somehow, because his cost reductions would be really nice after you've drawn a zillion cards. Maybe instead of Cozin?

I'd also like opinions on the power base, as I'm not sure it's exactly correct.

In any case, I love this deck, and I hope you do too!

Trail maker seems weird in this deck since there are very few 4 drops to ramp into, maybe Ramba could go in that slot?

That’s fair, I still felt like I needed more ramp and I like having a two drop ramp guy. I was also thinking Brenn since I have a lot of spells and not super stiff influence requirements. And you read my mind, I love Ramba, especially since this deck draws so many cards and he has great synergy with Pioneer, I was just having a hard time cutting anything for him.

What about Purify? It will kill ChaCha outright, and is in Praxis colors.

I've considered it. I don't like that it cant go face or hit sites and it's slow, and cant be comboed off Eclipse and Salvo, but you're right, if the matchup is bad enough I may have no choice.
