Have you thought of using Vodakhan's staff at all? I guess I wouldn't know how long your games are going, if you are planning to stay around after 8 or what but it could lead to some shenanigans.

I really want to love this deck because Tavrod is one of my favorite cards. After trying it for a while I must say there are major power base issues. I found that in many games I did not have the necessary influence to play out my turn.

How's the Time Merchant feel so far? I was talking to Phoenixton the other day and she mentioned about Marshals mb, I've been thinking about how I'd fit them in if I did so.

I am losing fewer games to T2 Teachers that I can block with the T merchant and have it live in situations where otherwise I would have the J merchant and he'd chump and die. Unfortunately the idea of T3 Auralian into T5 Tavrod pretty much never happens because it's hard to have TJJSS on 5. On the bright side I have a Carnosaur in the market that has helped break some board stalls since I run into those more often than I like against a wide variety of decks.

Pretty good actually. Banish is actually decent right now, a lot of Xenan Obelisk running around, it ruins their day. Vara's choice is OK. Boukish told me to try Striking Snake formation, I might do that. I'm running a copy of TGP right now it seems like I never grab it so maybe replace it. Lastly I am seeing a metric ton of skycrag aggro probably because of ManuS' deck tech and time merch blocks infinitely better here.

Just lost to your Mask list in ranked right now. Thanks for this list. Mana base for tri color Tavgod deck which I was also working on is so hard to do and also figuring out what to cut/keep since so many good cards in midrange shell for these 3 colors. Will mess around and try to refine too. ToH/Scribe are definitely too hard to reliably hit with JJSS on 5 and JJ on 3 with Commando/Enforcer. I'm going to mess around with the Time Merchant since Sword is also in that market and Carnosaur/Xenan Initiation probably fit this deck's plan. Initiation on Tavrod is actually pretty sweet if the board is too clogged for him to attack safely.

Hey great list. Did you choose to put Auric Record Keeper in over Auric Interrogator because it is easier on the influence or is there another reason?

Yeah, that was my main reason, though what svrQQ mentioned is a bonus. Having TJJSS by 3 is pretty demanding for a deck that wants to curve out. Going from S-->SS on 3 adds another 4 sources if you want to hit 80% of the time. He's also nice when you get SoU down because of the Entomb ability. I would have to actually sit down and play with the manabase to see if it would be doable though.

Though I'm skeptical of the change you could try taking out Unseen Commando and putting in AI, that solves the influence issue and gives you more Tavrod hits.

My experience switching from AI to ARK is it dodges a lot more torches and annihilates.

Yeah, it's pretty funny. It is about as dumb as Icaria/HotV+SoU ha. I was surprised there weren't any decks up yet with it.
