Bandit queen is a similar (although much worse) card. I'd probably play some amount of shakedown, annihilate, and dark return instead of highwayman. The market copy is very important though, especially if you want dark return in the maindeck. If you dont have any highwaymen at all you could replace the market copy with a jawbone greatsword or a bandit queen. Would not recommend statuary maiden in the current metagame.

You could play Statuary Maiden over Highwayman if you have him, but if you want a rare maybe something like steward of the past or memory dredger? Definitely worth owning highwayman's
