This is a brew I put together recently that I think has a lot of potential with some of the more recent cards released, but it isn't quite there yet. The basic idea is to combine persistent damage effects from nightfall and various curses with some powerful midrange units to choke out your opponent without them being able to do much about it. There's a lot of synergy in this deck, but it still has a lot of issues and is far from complete.

The main reason I wanted to make this deck was Old Scratch, a card that synergizes really well with nightfall decks. It's a big threat that will persistently grow stronger with nightfall going and is really hard to kill. As it becomes more of a threat, the opponent will have to keep killing it, which keeps nightfall going as long as they do that which activates your other cards' synergies.

Rindra, the Duskblade and Alu, Death-Dreamer are just powerhouses, rindra has great stats and battleskills for her price and alu 3d prints units for you as much as you can play curses.

Another really standout card here is Tormented Crown. This card is really really nice in nightfall decks, as the damage ping from nightfall counts as damage towards transforming it.

Shakedown is really great as a t1 card as it will always hit something, you can completely screw your opponent's curve with this card alone. I think this is a really underrated discard card, it's great just overshadowed by Exploit.

Dichro's Ruin and Black Iron Manacles are both cards to deal persistent damage. Dichro's only deals 1 per turn with just the nightfall, but makes up for that by really punishing any deck that wants to draw cards (any deck other than aggro). Manacles is great, and is just one of my favorite cards in the game, been trying to make it work for years now lol. Bit pricy, but can do a ton of damage. Discard damage isn't much on its own but can completely screw specific decks, most notably those Xenan self-mill void types.

The cheaper creatures are one of the things I'm still unsure about. Miris Nightshade is an easy inclusion, as it will almost always get its bonus stats and the curse it plays is perfect in this deck. Darkveil Agent and Dusk Raider are both good as well, but I'd really like to have a 3-drop for a cleaner curve, I just haven't found one that works well yet. I initially played with Traitorous Lantern, but it was awkward as it relied on night ending to activate and this deck wants to keep night going as long as possible.

Market I'm also unsure of, I like Wasteland Broker as the access card for its big body but the cards in it are still very undecided. Smuggler's Toll is really great in this deck and ideally I'd put it in maindeck, I just don't really have space for it.

So far this deck has had really good results against control, so-so against midrange, and very bad against aggro. Control decks can't really deal with the persistent curse damage, and since most control decks now are Combrei they don't have good enough relic removal to get rid of everything. Midrange is iffy because, while my midrange cards are big, a lotta the current ones that see play are just bigger. Alu, Death-Dreamer is like a gnat against Riftfeeder Wasp. It's not terrible, just not great. Aggro is really hard, the cheap units I'm playing don't have good defensive stats and unless I can hit one of my 4-drops on curve and it doesn't die I pretty much lose outright.

Please let me know what you think of this deck, and any suggestions! I really think something like this could work, it just needs to be tweaked a bit.

Consider for 3-drop slot:

- Jufi, Sprite Seer (grows with extra draw from nightfall)
- Temple Shihan (nightfall draw means more chance for inspire to proc)
- Severin, Inevitable (revenge works well with extra nightfall draw, although you would lose Unseen typing on units)
- Traitorous Lantern (nightfall spot removal, although can be finnicky as it's not on-demand)
- Lethrai Kidnapper (serves as hand disruption with a downside that actually synergizes with Dichro's Ruin and Black Iron Manacles)
- Kuro, Champion of Makkar (fast curses, decent attacking body)
- Skywalk Enforcer (grows with curses)
- Subtracting 2 Wasteland Broker and adding 2 Howling Peak Smuggler (provides instant access to 4 of your 5 market cards)

Thanks, these are some great ideas! I especially like Temple Shihan and Lethrai Kidnapper, I'm definitely gonna try those out. Shihan especially seems perfect, I'd honestly forgotten that card existed but the double synergy w/ the deck is great.
