Information

This is a small project I'm working on. Looking for advice if anyone wants to pitch in their two cents. I don't have a market in the deck purely because it seemed the market worked against the deck. It probably was my additions to the market, but several iterations has shown me that this works more consistently without a market to overcomplicate it.

I played many games with this, and the only decks I am running into are playing red, which has shut this deck down thoroughly so far. A lot of your answers are high cost against the board presence that aggro can spit out, I was almost able to play a control game after making a few changes (Beacon for small Icaria, Fall Short over retribution) but I ended up dying to a madness. I am giving up on trying to make this work but I feel like you want more creatures if your meta is more aggro like what I was running into. Combrei is the right color for cost efficient big boys. I feel like Voda's Staff and Obelisk sat in my hand a lot as I was trying to keep pressure against a swarm of x/2s and removal this deck wasn't ready for. I lost a lot of units to Vara's Favor in the last couple hours and it was quite daunting. Good luck in your Combrei adventures!

I have a similar empower deck, but my top end is quite different. I mostly play gauntlet, so the choices may not work as well in a more competitive context, but here's my two cents:
Telut is a great finisher in this shell, especially with your hojans and monks. Hojans let you stabilize through almost anything with 8+ life per swing, and with monks overwhelm you go over the top of armies is he doesn't play as well with go wide strategies, so there's definitely a trade-off. I'd say it's really up to playstyle preference.

Actually, looking at your list telut would not be a great match, you've got way more bodies than my list. I would consider martyrs chains; although it might feel win more, it's ludicrously powerful.
