Based on Kaelos' "Don't Fear the Reaper" deck, I was looking for something to play with Valkyrie Harvester. I only have one copy as opposed to his/her three, but it really hasn't been a problem so far!

I added some vanquishes, cut a combust and a kalis, added a harsh rule, and added a gear cruncher.

With four Rise to the Challenge, getting the pieces together as been no problem. Gearcruncher has been a great card to pull with Rise also, it's very easy to drop it on turn 5 via Tumblebang trading.

I've been playing some version of this deck too and several times got in the position of needing to rise for an answer but you have none if you're stuck at 4/5 power.
I ended up adding 1 of each memory dredger and stonescar scrapper. These give you a decent (at least better than typ. grenadin) body with flying if needed while also able to pull out hatchers (or whatever) from the void or giving you extra draw, respectively.
I'm absolutely certain it's not optimal but it's really fun -- I'd love to hear better options though.

That's a really good point. I've been in the same situation where all I can see to rise is a Tumblebang. I like the 'toolkit' approach and scrapper and dredger are both pretty good tools to have a copy of. I'll experiment with this when I can and report back findings.
