This is an aggro deck looking to take advantage of early empower units, then eventually land and protect an Unraveling Fanatic or make a giant Order of the Spire. There are definitely some substitutions that can be made to keep it more budget friendly, but nearly all the expensive cards see tons of play in other decks, so they are good long term investments.

I don't know how good Fanatic and order are, but have you thought about going hyper aggro and replacing them with Borderlands Lookout and that new 3/3 combrei 2 drop that plays a land on mastery 6. I think it would not only cut down on your 3 drops, it would give you 8 1 drops (which aggro love) and allow for mor explosive starts!
Just food for thought, I will test this out :).

As soon as I finished the decklist I realized it should have included Borderlands Lookout. But I basically built the deck with the intention of using Unraveling Fanatic as the main win-con aside from just aggro beats, so I wouldn't want to cut him. Order of the Spire is a possible cut, but he just snowballs so ridiculously, and we only have 8 three-drop units. The rest of the spells/weapons actually want to be played after turn 3.
