Primal has a surprising number of Big Bois with equally big downsides. Often exhaustion or stun effects. Marrying Primal with Time seems like a match made in Eternal heaven.
Reasons for Card Choices
Twilight Hunt Killer on dinosaurs gives +2/+2 and when used in
Dawnwalker gives us a reusable 4/1 killer.
Alhed Ascending big body for 2TT. Dinosaur that grows. Benefits from
Twilight Hunt. Gives Decay to our units which makes exchanges problematic for the enemy.
Kickflip Monk Mostly used for its Inscribe. Has a decent body for blocking during opponent's turn. Stops pesky Devour decks which the AI loves. It stops
Dawnwalker from returning to play. So make sure to play it early while stabilizing the board and stifling Devour decks. Have it do a suicide attack when you need your
Dawnwalker back.
Strategize Solid card draw and helps us dig or exchange
Treasure Trove in hand for something better.
Auralian Merchant Good Blocker and helps us reach 6 power for a
Grodov's Burden or
Infinite Hourglass. The later should be first pick most of the time.
Dawnwalker Solid Blocker, re-usable, and benefits from Big Boi cards.
False Prince our first Big Boi. Good body for 3. An early threat that must be answered by multiple unit blocking or it eats a spell. Solid card and clears the way for threats to come.
Great Valley Smuggler Benefits from market relics. Solid body for 3. Best to cast at 4 power to play relic at the same turn.
Hexavore It has good body for 3 and has Overwhelm but feels underwhelmed by everything else in the deck. It is a dinosaur so it will benefit from
Twilight Hunt but we have only two of those in the deck. Could be replaced but I cannot find something better at the moment. Doesn't revive
Dawnwalker unless
Grodov's Burden is already in play.
Tocas, Waystone Harvester is a good early blocker. It stifles spells that targets enemy units, throwing combat tactics like
Finest Hour and its ilk out the window.
Guardian of Spring our second Big Boi. Solid body and gives the enemy a useless relic once
Infinite Hourglass is in play. Could be played early to stop opponent from playing other units or spell by forcing them to deal with
Guardian of Spring by paying 2 to stun it. Semi-control if played that way to buy time.
Sandstorm Titan The most broken unit Time produced and it made many. Good body for 4, built in endurance, and makes flying powerless. Will eat a kill spell or will stay in the game to help you build an army of Big Bois. Good thing the gods of Eternal didn't bless it with Overwhelm.
Thundrus & Snooze Our resident assassin and often turns the tide in our favor. Can kill 90% if not more of units in Eternal when it drops. Regen ensures it survives the encounter. Deals with pesky deadly units and ends stalemates by removing the biggest baddie on the other side.
Market Choices
Infinite Hourglass
Sandstorm Scarf anti-flying often our second market pick.
Cirso's Choice Aegis and 6 life can keep us in the running against fast aggro decks. Could also come in handy by sweeping the board. Our units baring
Dawnwalker and a relic less
Great Valley Smuggler survives this.
Chronostorm our second sweep. Buys time and takes care of the bigger enemy threats. Inscribe!
Grodov's Burden is wore win-more but who doesn't want to win more? Also, dying
Dawnwalker will give stats and possibly killer.
Possible Replacement
Lake Terror on paper looks good against
Hexavore . Same cost, bigger body, and negates its weakness once
Infinite Hourglass is on board which also happens to be first in our to-do list. But unlike
Hexavore it cannot be played early game to block opponents and stabilize the board. It feels more like a win-more and
Grodov's Burden has that covered. Also, no Overwhelm doesn't help its case.
I tired this deck and i wanna say it feels good, i like it.
thanks for sharing
i don't have Hexavore so i tried 3-cost sodi. it was good so far
