Information

This is an updated version of a deck I posted a couple of months ago. I just finished gaining 300 spots in masters with this list.

The main changes from the previous version are the addition of Dazzle and Harsh Rule in the main deck, and Burden in the market. All three additions improve the deck tremendously, as they aid in spots that the deck was previously running into problems. The power set up is perfect, don't be tempted to play around with it, unless you are making substantial changes.

There is so much advice I could give about playing this, that I'm not sure where to begin. I will answer all questions if someone has any. Main things to get you started, you'll need forgotten find or hourglass in your opening hand. Almost always ultimate Sol's Rest.

Hello , been playing this deck exclusively for a while , it’s my favorite . You were very right about Ravid being a big part of the deck. I replaced the merchant LD for the blue white merchant and added Scourge of Frosthome . This has won my several games against control since he shuts off kill spells and basically ensures your board won’t be wrathed. I replaced equivocate for him . The merchants have been nice since they are often 4/4 .

Thanks again for sharing this deck with us , I’ve had a lot of fun with it

That's great to hear how much you are enjoying it. Those are definitely interesting edits that you made, and I will try them out to see how they change how the deck plays. It will be interesting to see what choices could be had with a new color option for the market.

The first thing that came to mind was that intuitively, I'd want to swap The Great Parliament from the market in the place of Scourge. I say that for 3 main reasons. I'd want to replace a "win condition" slot for another. Without an instant speed removal spell, I'm worried about the matchup against some combo-ish decks, that don't interact with the board much, stuff like Talir combo for example. The third reason that comes to mind is that The Great Parliament gets quite a bit worse without the +1 power bump that the white Merchant gives, removing the option of grabbing Parliament at 7 or 11 power with the Merchant to net +1 owls.

I have just finished moving, and I am sure I will give the deck another go around for this season. Although I am tempted to try a TPS version, with all the relic decks that are in the metagame

So I have built most of the deck now . Still having a blast with it

What’s the purpose of pit of lenekta ?
Also I subbed a praxis vow for a feln vow to help paying for dazzle
How important is Ravid, insect master ? It’s the only one I haven’t crafted

Have you made any updates ?

Hello and thank you for trying the deck and giving feedback. Pit is a win condition that you can grab with calibrate, so it increases the chance of it being a good card later in the game. I'd say it helps with general consistency, but is it really pivotal? Probably not. I wouldn't craft it before going for Ravid. Imo, it's the best card in the deck. It's funny that you mentioned needing to sub a vow for better influence consistency, because Ravid is a big part of it. I always find more use for dazzle, later in the game, so Ravid fixes influence amount for Worldpyre and Influence for all the greedy cards we play. It ramps us if our opponent killed our Worldpyre, or if we are just trying to get to Aid the old fashioned way. It also blocks forever and is great with Marshal and Burden.

I haven't made any changes to the deck since I posted that list. I have been playing some different decks for some variety. I'm guessing I will pick this back up later this season or next season. Right now, I'm trying to make some weird charge rod decks, which I will likely post soon.

I love the engine of the deck, saw your post the last list you made . Still don’t have enough to craft everything but I’m playing some budget bombs but was able to get the core Voidramp stuff put together
