This deck aims to punish greedy lists that have taken over the expedition format by the intended Eternal way: Aegis Fliers
Your wincon is very simple, get a giant flying unit and direct it straight to the enemies face, ignoring all their Tasbus, Fenrises, Incarnuses, etc.
Notable inclusions/exclusions
1 Permafrost: With Elysian always getting hourglass from the market, this card becomes dead in a rather common matchup.
For shadow decks, we intend on flying over their ground threats anyway. Impending Doom and Karvet is what the Bring Downs are for, and you can just retrieve our one perma with Parul's Choice should you need it.
The main matchups being sacrificed for just running one Perma is Onis and Combrei Aggro, but hopefully you don't run into them too often.
4 Bring Downs: Why not 4 Edict of Kodoshs? Because Bring Down is fast, like Torch used to be. Which means you can use it like a combat trick against other Aggro decks. Use this against Shen-ra/Incarnus to bait it into your units, or use it against Armadillos to reduce all the Elysian's players minions by 1/1.
If you have floating power, you can destroy their Karvet/Impending Doom/Eclipse Dragon/Vishni on your turn, allowing for more tempo.
4 Lightning Sprites: This card's incredible for when you get power flooded. Also it's a very solid flying minion, being able to block well, as well as being able to push damage on its own when you twist it.
4 Ghostblade Outcasts: Shen'ra feels bad with everyone running Vara's Favor. Lifesteal is amazing when you can easily put it on your big flier, allowing you to outrace aggro and midrange from the skies. Has great synergy with Loyalist and Gryffyn.
2 Axe Sharpeners: Only running 8 2-drops feels bad, so I run 10. Great synergy in this deck, but not enough to make them better than Crownwatch Paladin or Varret. (also its a nonbo with Inquisitor's Blade)
Tips:
The most important card in the market is Inquisitor's Blade. You want to be grabbing this the majority of the time.
For Elysian, just about always grab Lay Siege.
Play to win. This is an aggro deck, you have to often make risky decisions to push damage or advance tempo. For example, don't just blindly turn Varret into Aegis form. In fact, against other Aggro decks, I always turn him into Lifesteal. If I have something to protect Varret like Parul's or Daring Gryffyn, or the enemy has little cards in hand, I turn Varret into Overwhelm.
