Went 12-1 on day one of the new chapter.
Everyone breaks out their aggro decks on the first day of the new chapter. I dislike aggro-vs-aggro matchups, so I made a pile of unoptimized Expedition-legal anti-aggro cards to gobble up all of the low curve day 1 decks.
Not much to say, just hold your removal until you know what your opponent is playing, then wait for the right moment to play your sweepers.
You don't need a late game win condition. You just need to run the aggro player out of cards and convince them your deck is full of cards that are literally designed to counter theirs (which it is) and that they have no hope of out top-decking you (which they don't).
Torgov's Trading Post is amazing for this kind of deck. If your opponent feels like removing it, they have to spend a full turn killing the site instead of A+space-ing your face with chargers. The site also thins your deck, so that you draw more gas more often.
There's enough aegis in the meta right now that I find it valuable to save
Ice Bolt for aegis targets when against Justice decks.
If you play
Trials and Tribulations with a
Hidden Crusader on board, you get a 2/4 and a card.
