Moonstone Vanguard just got unnerfed, and it's time to beat down the AI with 10/10 Flying Double Damage Sentinels ... that also draw you cards.
In the early turns, you use your cheap units to stall and focus on fixing your Influence (for the rare case you won't be able to rely on
Worldpyre). You can make liberal use of board wipes, since any big unit (cost: 4+) you play afterwards can take over the game on its own. All but
Icaria, the Liberator can greatly benefit from the Flying gained from
Fearless Crescendo.
Zadia, Revered Outcast provides early fixing, and since the AI plays a lot of units without battle skills, she also makes it much more likely for you to have good attacks. If she's hit by
Zuberi, Outlands Warlord's Inspire and/or
Icaria, the Liberator's Warcry, she can get her Mastery in one attack (or block ... yes the AI does attack into Zadia!).
Stonepowder Alchemist's Summon can help against relic weapons, especially if Inspired by
Zuberi, Outlands Warlord. (Of course,
Desert Alchemist's Ambush can be used against relic weapons attacks as well.)
Having a Market full of Displays provides a great mix of flexibility for Gauntlet: All can potentially deal with enemy units,
Display of Vision can kill attachments or get any power (including an active Cylix),
Display of Tradition can shut down Void recursion,
Display of Ambition can recur threats or give your units Overwhelm, and
Display of Knowledge can fetch a
Worldpyre (or ideally: the
Quicksilver Mirror). Feel free to try out other Market cards, including other Displays.
Happy cruising!
