I see a common thing about these runs, a legendary card present. I also noticed I win 90/100% of the forge runs that have a legendary.

A good legendary certainly helps, but I don't think they make that much of a difference. I just checked my run history, and only 8 out of 44 full clears I have recorded included a legendary in the deck. That works out to about 20%. IMO, the most important thing in Forge is just being able to play on curve. I feel like most of my losses come down to either power issues, or simply getting high rolled by a god tier AI deck.
