This deck just consists of all possible tech against the current meta. It's a janky pile, but I currently have an 80% winrate with it, so it can't be that bad. The gameplan is simple. Hope to draw the right sigils and a teacher, play
Teacher of Humility on turn two, have your control opponent scoop to it. If the opponent has a hooru-based midrange gameplan, just drop a
Sandstorm Titan on turn 4, and then have the opponent scoop. If that isn't enough, you can play
Heart of the Vault on turn 6 (drawing another HoV in the process), and just grind the opponent out.
However, when your opponent is playing a midrange list, you might have to break through a boardstall with a
Cirso, the Great Glutton and the
Xenan Obelisk you got from your market. But if you don't need xenan obelisk, the market can also be used to have 7-ish HoVs in your deck, and you thought having it as a 4-of was good. If the opponent is running any dawnwalkers, they're dealt with by the
Permafrosts in the deck, or the
Purify in the mainboard and the market.
Shatterglass Mage deals with any attachments that might interfere with the core gameplan.
But here we are met with the question, what to do against aggro or control, provided that you don't have an auto-scoop, turn 2, on-the-play mentor. With aggro, the abundance of removal in
Torch and
Hailstorm will basically render their gameplan meaningless if you draw the right cards. And you can beat control at their own game using
Wisdom of the Elders and
Channel the Tempest.
Note: This is not a good deck, it's just well placed. If there's a significant change in the metagame, the deck will be useless.
