So was screwing around the other day and thought: what if I built Rakano to try and mimic Argenport Midrange's curve? The deck has been performing pretty well for me on ladder. That said, I don't think I'd take this to an ETS simply because neither fire nor justice (nor rakano multifaction) is all that great at sideboarding at this point in the game. You can try some justice cards in the board that slightly change up your angle of attack (oathbooks, inquisitor's blades, silverwing familiars), but ultimately, you can't do something like AP mid which can just make life miserable for other midrange decks by having up to 12 pieces of spot removal post-board, or leaning heavily on disruption.
In any case, the weapons suite may be seasoned to taste--I.E. replacing runehammers or shoguns scepters for inquisitors blades or hammers of might, but I think the unit core is where it needs to be. For explanations:
Outlaw vs. Ripknife as the other 2-skill warcry unit, the enforcers and commandos should be standard fare for anyone familiar with J aggro-midrange, and whirling duo replaces auric interrogator. Torches and vanquishes essentially fill in for sabotage and slay (better in some instances, a lot worse in most likely many more), firemaw for doom/traitor (would love to play doom instead of firemaw, but c'est la vie), and plates for Tavrod. Champion of Glory is of course, decent in many situations and helps the deck hit a 2-drop more consistently.
Power base I think is pretty self-explanatory. All the fixing you can get in Rakano, and since 12 sigils should be enough to activate the seats, having an extra few grenadins to slam a weapon in your hand on is better than nothing else as far as power is concerned. As for the rationale of 29 (one being a monument) vs. 30 power (AP should run 30) is that this Rakano deck is slightly lower to the ground than an AP list, and also doesn't have crests to scout additional power to the bottom. I'm pretty sure if I had crests here, I'd probably cut one of the scepters, and exchange the seals for the crests.
Anyhow, that's just my commentary in no particular order on this deck--I wish rakano had better sideboarding options, but as of now, it feels like pretty slim pickings as opposed to something like AP mid.
