Short Intro
Carpet Shuffle is one of my favorite decks from way back when Eternal was taking it's first steps. Never a top tier deck but in my opinion one of the most fun ones to play. Being a pure Elysian deck, it lacked any good control to help you get to your win condition safely. It needed cards like Harsh Rule in order to be slightly competitive but splashing J seemed too much of a gimmick, since very few J cards would fit the decklist (and Harsh Rule being JJ didn't help much for a stable manabase). Hooru Control got a huge buff in the latest patches though, with cards like Svetya, Orene of Kosul and better card draw in the form of Strategize. Also I am aware that the deck isn't a pure Hooru deck since it splashes T, but that's all it is , a splash of color, it is still Hooru at heart. Have in mind, I don't claim that the deck now is top tier but I do believe it is a nice start towards an actual semi-competitive to competitive deck.

Deck Analysis
Core: Elysian Trailblazer Static Bolt Second Sight Excavate
I'm sure most of you already know the combo, an echoed Second Sight means card draw for days, helping you dig
for answers and setting up your win condition, an echoed Static Bolt (usually a 1-turn/2-turn clock for your opponent).
Pro Tip: DON'T splash F for the infinite combo with Trail Stories, it is too gimmicky and the dead cards in hand
will result in more loses.

Control Package:
Harsh Rule / Hailstorm : Obvious inclusions for the much needed survivability the original deck lacked.
Not much more to say. Hailstorm could be reduced to 3 depending on the meta.

Desert Marshal : Probably the best silence card in the game, helping against Dawnwalker, entomb effects,
Revenge etc.

Vanquish : Must included card (3 to 4) for any Justice deck that needs removal.

Static Bolt : Win-con lategame, alright removal early to mid game. Using it as removal also helps set up the combo with Excavate

Svetya, Orene of Kosul / Hooru Pacifier : Though not true control cards, I feel like they serve their purpose
on the list. Hooru Pacifier is a great early blocker and helps greatly against Armory-like decks. 4 health means it doesn't die with Torch. The effect also helps against Rakano aggro.
Svetya, Orene of Kosul seems odd for a control list, but for me it is over-performing. Dropping her turn-4 against aggro means either they lose a turn or sacrifice a creature to pass damage through because of her enter-the-battlefield effect.
Note that both cards don't die from Hailstorm.

Card Draw:
Second Sight : An alright card, but for us it's a key piece to our strategy.

Strategize / Wisdom of the Elders : Never run any Primal control decks without playsets of both in my opinion. Helps you find answers, helps you find your win condition, helps you win. Simple as that.

Other noteworthy cards not included in my list are:
Eilyn's Choice : Honestly a pretty good card, but perhaps a 2of instead of a playset.
Leave a Witness : Perhaps a 1of inclusion if the meta gets too slow.
Lightning Strike : Again a really good card, great answer for aggro and Armory but alas I run out of space in the deck.
Auric Runehammer : Great card, run a playset instead of Pacifier if you want to include it.
Rain of Frogs : Good against Azindel's Gift (your nemesis when playing this deck) and other tough to deal cards like Inquisitor Makto. I feel like it is a waste of 4 power against a big chunk of decks though.
Aid of the Hooru : Don't have it, don't feel like crafting it yet for testing. Feedback would be much appreciate about how this runs in the deck.
Channel the Tempest : With echoed Second Sights you won't have a problem finding your win con. Don't need to add more, especially when adding a few copies means more bad starting hands because of it's cost.
Unseal : A cheap counter is never bad in any control list, especially when it also counters the one card that wrecks your game plan, Azindel's Gift. Perhaps running 2ofs is a must but i don't know what to cut.
Celestial Omen: The card that for 6 power draws you the perfect answer or your win con, but I feel like it is not needed here.

And that's it. Again I must say that I don't believe that this is a top tier deck, nor do I believe that my list is perfect. I do believe though that it has the potential to grow into a pretty good one. Honestly I am sharing this not only because it is a really fun deck but because any feedback might help fine-tuning it.

This was my first Deck Tech. Hope you enjoyed it. And please excuse any English mistakes. :)

This deck is lots of fun.
Probably only getting 1 win out of 4 tries!!! Haha! But its strangely still appealing.

I need this deck out of my life..... but I think I need it....
