I've been playing some form of stonescar dragons in expedition for a while, then updated my list with
Tattoo Dragon and
Pale Rider's Timepiece after taking inspiration from VirginMary's list from ECQ: Aftershock.
Unseen Longbow was another addition, pledge can be relevant. Plus it is another option to tutor for with
Dragon Forge, a card this deck looks to leverage to find the right answer for the matchup. This is why there are a variety of situational 7-drop dragons. These become unwilling market fodder for Blazing Salvo in a pinch.
Stonescar packs a lot of removal relative to other factions in expedition, part of the reason I wanted to brew a control list in those colors. Defile and Eremot's Designs can sometimes get extra value when your opponent has their Traver's Farm or Spellbound Vestiges up, make sure to check unit costs! You could certainly argue this is a midrange list, but it is definitely on the control-y end of midrange if so.
It's possible that it shouldn't run any emblems, as you rarely want to decimate. It's a minimal hedge against flooding, the 2/2 deadly in particular can actually be a good blocker. But actually thinking about it now, it rarely came up in games, and you're just pinging your own face and helping your aggro opponents. Not to mention occasionally punishing you with depleted
Seat of Chaos.
Took the list to master's this season from lowly silver.
