Thought it was about time to dust off this old boy, and add some new things to it.
Our game plan is to get
Bad News and or
Mirror Image into the void, and infiltrate forever with
Cabal Spymaster and
West-Wind Herald. Protect the combo pieces, draw and discard accordingly to set it up. I only briefly tested a market, but it felt clunky.
Condemn or
Blazing Salvo are probably good options, but the power base would need to be tweaked to support fire better. This deck could also be shifted towards a more damage focus with
Transpose and
At Any Cost, but I haven't messed with that in the new set.
Bottled Insight - Good for draw/discard at all stages of the game.
Check-Raise - My new favorite negate, even if they can pay it, it can slow them down a turn.
Master Cartographer - Card draw/discard, body for blocking.
Toxicology - Discard outlet that is pretty decent removal.
Unseal - when Check-Raise isn't enough.
Battle at the Gates - Anti Unleash, just generally good as a removal spell.
Display of Survival - Can help clear the air, very bad
Battle at the Gates, aegis, card draw.
Mirror Image - Probably don't need 4 of, but play on either of the units, or discard it.
Rainfall Accord - More draw/discard.
Cabal Spymaster - Combo with
West-Wind Herald and
Bad News to win the game!
West-Wind Herald - Part of our combo, protect at all costs.
Bad News - Another piece of the combo, if you have WWH and Spymaster out, it is safe to cast this, even if it gets countered before you attack, you play it from your void.
Scouting Party - Classic cute card to play with WWH, we normally would have Scattershot in here for this, but I feel like he is too vulnerable.
