100% Yes! Going to have my new version up sometime tomorrow!

That one was a personal choice. My goal was to target Hooru Control and Stonescar. Against Hooru, your board does not live long enough to platemaker something, and againdt Stonescar you may not live to play Platemaker. I decided that everything else in the deck needs to have immediate value the turn it's played or the turn after and advance the gameplan (for this reason Hojan is also not here). The 2 slots that would be Platemaker instead are the 4th Defiance and Vanquish. Hope this answers your question :)
I like this list and used it except for one market change to go 6-1 through diamond one to masters this month. Brings me back to the glory days when it had big Icaria...
Congrats! I'm glad to hear that it worked out for you. What did you change in the market? I'm curious, because I was never happy with it. (The day we get 7 Cost Icaria back I will party)
I took out Jawbone Greatsword for a Harsh Rule. I like having an emergency board clear in case I get behind or my opponent overcommits. Personal preference. I agree with you about 7 cost Icaria. It's not immediate board impact but Svetya boosting every unit in the deck except Xo is quite nice. Might add some graveyard hate with all the reanimator though.
That's interesting. In earlier versions of the deck, Harsh Rule was one of the cards that was actually a 4-of in the mainboard, but I think Magikarp, SolventSoup, and I all ended up cutting it because this is a tempo-based unit deck, and if you are forced to grab Harsh Rule you likely already lost. If it works for you then more power to you, but often it ends up being a tempo loss. For this same reason I strayed away from Pristine Light in the market. Jawbone Greatsword is great in all matchups and is one of the main reasons I had game against Hooru Control which would otherwise be a pretty difficult one. Having access to 2 weapons main + 4 pseudo copies is pretty powerful. I can understand cutting it though.
And on void hate: reanimator is a very fringe matchup that you lose no matter what if they get a merchant and a decent void before t5, even with voidhate. The way this deck wins is just with big fliers early and to keep smacking them, so I don't think that a market gavel is necessary when you can just grab Plate and kill them. Would be interested to see what other market considerations there are though, and am happy to discuss :)
Your logic is sound. If you're seeing a lot of Hooru control, weapons such as Greatsword and Nullblade work wonders. I've won a bit with a runaway weapon for sure. For me, I like an answer to rats, grenadins, tokens, praxis, etc that fills their board with no regard. It also helps in the late game if I get behind. The runehammer has been strong enough against control but does die to a snowball so there's that.
I have grabbed plate a lot in games and I hate gavel so I think trying to kill graveyard recursion before they kill you is the best play. Again though, if I know they will hit their grasping at shadows, I can have a harsh rule ready. However, I know a fringe deck should not be a consideration but we're seeing so much evehanded golem...;)
No problem :) This deck is far from perfect, and many choices depend on your meta so it will likely never be a "perfect" deck. The beauty of a diverse meta, eh? :P
Felt pretty perfect to me in my run. Vanquisher's blade I've also used in the market in a similar deck but it's best on an aegis unit. Again, thanks for the deck. Keep brewing!

Appreciate the discussion. Thanks!
