The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
Heh, it is fun when everything goes at least roughly according to the plans. Extremely frustrating when you draw both Invokes in the first three turns. Not an easy and fast way to return the Invokes back to the library :)
Today i craft 2 Invoke to test this deck against the AI and he is reallly strong. AI don't have any idea how to face Invoke the Waystone. Thanks for the deck.
1) Market for Diogo.
2) Play Diogo with an amplify.
3) The only spells in the deck are Invoke the Waystones, so Diogo is guaranteed to make a Destiny Waystone.
4) Market for and play Resurface.
5) Draw the Destiny Waystone - it draws you a card (due to Destiny), plays a card (due to the effect), and creates a Destiny copy, which plays again and repeats the cycle.
6) You draw a full hand of cards and play a bunch of random units on the board, as well as ramping to like 12 power.
7) Market for Reclaimer (this is fairly easy, you're like 90+% to draw or cast a Time merchant)
8) Play Reclaimer to refill your deck
9) Win with your board full of units. Cast Xo with your huge amount of power if needed to help finish the game.
Excavate is your emergency button (Invoke gets counterspelled, you get Mugged) for when things go wrong. Display of Instinct helps to counterspell your opponent's counterspell. The other modes can be used to remove a unit if really needed, or to gain some life + another market grab by returning a Merchant.
Oh, so it’s like Talir Combo where it has a phase where it’s cocked and ready to go off (Talir in play, or amped Diogo played in this) and then needs another step to completely combo out (Merchant for Vodo, or Resurface the Waystones in this and then draw it).
Played against this just a bit ago; the only spell is Invoke the Waystones, so Diogo hits that and it can be cheated out with Resurface. It creates a copy of itself including Destiny whenever played, so it plays every fifth card in your deck + draws stuff until you run out --> lumen reclaimer.
