Hello everyone! I've been loving Expedition, especially since it lets me play with all of the new cards from Flame of Xulta. (In Ranked, on the other hand, 3 or 4 might be playable. Maybe.)
Combrei Aggro is certainly not an original idea in the new Expedition. In particular, I'd like to acknowledge my debt to Alison's deck, which was the original base for the deck, and some of the comments were helpful too. Nevertheless, testing has shown this is a very competitive deck, and a heck of a lot of fun too!
Here are some of the more interesting cards in the deck:
Borderlands Lookout - One of the best 1 drops in Eternal, and you can play it in Expedition! Obvious inclusion.
Finest Hour - Another obvious inclusion.
Shen-Ra, Unbreakable - One of the great things about Expedition is that one-drops are playable again, and this is one of the best ones. If they waste removal on this, your other cards will survive; if not, this will eventually get big and hard to deal with.
Aamri's Choice - An amazing card. Usually it is a Finest Hour with Overwhelm, but the other mode can be great too, particularly since it is such a tempo killer for them.
Intrepid Longhorn - A great three drop, and its card fetching ability can be key. More than once, when I was stuck at 2 power, I attacked with this and Finest Houred so that I can could get another Sigil.
Kira, the Prodigy - this deck has some many pump effects that this card can suddenly take over the game, given a good pump effect.
Relentless Deadshot - not one of the stronger cards in the deck, but can be great at gaining life and also stunning another unit.
Varret, Hero-in-Training - to be honest, I've only transformed him a few times. Just being a 2/3 is often good, and the threat of transforming him often leads him to be another removal magnet.
Seasoned Drillmaster Oh my, this card is good. Helps push through damage, activate Mastery, leaving a decent body behind ... I always love seeing this card.
Soothing Shortbeak - I added this card because honestly I needed a flyer in this deck - there were a lot of ground stalls that were hard to get through. The curse has often been very good, making it possible for my other units to attack.
Market:
Lay Siege - great for board stalls and getting rid of
Permafrost
Edict of Grodov - handy card against blue or black cards. It is possible this is good enough for main deck.
Avigraft - hard way to kill a card
Cleansing Rain - really good against Curse decks and also control decks.
Waystone Fragment - another card that is good against board stalls. Possible this should be something else.
