So I had to make an exp deck with
Siege Train and I wanted to have fun with the influence payoffs so this is what I came up with. It could probably be more aggressive, it could probably be mono-red, but I really had fun with the
Tota Pioneer shenanigans and market stuff and big flash fires. I played it three nights from silver to master league. It's probably not going to do well at the top but you can steal some games for sure.
Siege Train: typically draws annihilate but is just solid beater and sometimes gives your two drops and grenedins and rustlings a 3/3 weapon. Sometimes I don't want to play jekk on 4 because I don't have a sigil and it's nice to just toss out something that needs to be answered. I love the little boxes animation when it attacks and dies and the amplify interface. I'm really grateful to DWD for how well this was implemented and I'm glad it's winning so many people their draft and forge games!
Shavka Evangel: This seems iffy but the extra influence is really nice for surge,
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter,
Flash Fire,
Fire Etchings and
Granite Waystone. And honestly, that berserk has mattered with
Finest Hour,
Tota Pioneer, and
Rampage.
Marley, Heroic Marshal: This might be too much of a stretch into justice, but it fits the surge theme and provides a silence and isn't all that hard to play in the mid to late game.
Fire Etchings: Since the aggro super early game in expedition didn't seem so great I wanted to run 25+4
Seek Power as my power base so these are the
Seek Power effectively, they just don't fix for green and late they set up some nice reach or a
Corrosive Dagger value play.
Anyway curious for improvements. Felt nice to play constructed again and get to master league!!
Every single game I tried with this list ran into NOTHING but removal piles since that is now the meta of this game. To only play removal in 2/3s of your deck. This list has no good card draw and after turn 4 if you have not killed them you have no hand and no board from having everything be removed instantly before they can even attack and get damage in.
It is not really your fault but this game is becoming super garbage over the fact that every single list HAS and DOES run at least 12 removal spells and then drops giant units that are far too cheap for what they should be. This list honestly can not even come close to competing.
