As soon as I saw
Sindar, the Corruptor in the reveal I knew I wanted a deck with her. Some ideas were tossed about on how to just get her to ping the opponent:
*
Icebow
*
Iceberg Scattershot
Or simple evasion to get her through at low costs:
*
Haunting Scream
*
Ghostform
I also noticed the new
Mercenary Vanguard would work well too.
Reflector has great potential for paying the cost to clone
Sindar, the Corruptor before she drops.
I'm still working on what exactly I want in the deck, I had four copies of
Sindar, the Corruptor in the main deck but moved her to the market for this iteration to see if I could get her more reliably. With
Rage Grafter's ability to both fetch her and give her Berserk and +1/+1 it's got some promise. (And might make the deck a little less expensive for others to approach.)
This iteration also has
Tavia, Lethrai Raidleader, mostly I wanted the ability to discard a specific card from my hand so I could use
Haunting Scream when other evasion wasn't available. It might just be better to play
Sindar, the Corruptor and let her die though. I added
Acantha Ascending to add some elves but I don't often get enough shadow influence to really get good synergy going, I might tweak the powerbase or cut her.
The AI doesn't think much of
Sindar's Mark being a threat. It will happily let you add them instead of risking losing a unit. I expect DWD will patch this eventually.
So far I've won by:
* Having 2x
Mercenary Vanguard's out and attacking with two
Sindar, the Corruptor, (via
Mirror Image, I pulled that card at some point,
Reflector can help in that regard.)
* Pinged with
Icebow and attacked with and without
Ghostform, (which is where I found that the AI would rather lose the game than let one of it's units die.)
I will say, I haven't won a game with any versions of this deck that didn't involve getting three
Sindar's Mark on the opponent.
