Greetings,
This deck has absolutely no business being consistent in gauntlet, much less being posted on Warcry. It is very poorly optimized, and it doesn't even run a market. I created it solely to grind for the achievement for using the Bond ability 100 times. I didn't craft a single card and only used cards that I had that had Bond or were Sentinel-related. The result is a deck that is pretty consistent in Gauntlet. I'm not even sure how.
If optimized, I think this could be an exceptional grinder. Rather than optimize it, I decided to just post it as is. I also have it listed as a work-in-progress because I might actually try to optimize it when I have more time. Here are 2 things I learned when playing this deck:
1) Bond is fairly easy to pull off, especially when
Ancient Defenses is in play. Prioritize getting at least one out.
2) Much like
General Fiera, the Gauntlet AI doesn't seem to know how to deal with
Arcanum's True Heart. The AI will waste all of its removal on this card to no effect. I've seen the AI waste multiple torches or burn spells in one turn. If you get it out, it's basically game over....unless the AI has silence effects. If I have the chance to play
Opum, the Gemblazer, True Heart is the best target.
Adding more copies of True Heart is probably one of the better ways to improve this deck. That and maybe another copy or 2 of
Restorative Process
The deck is weak against decks with a ton of kill spells and silence. If I can optimize things, I might have one of my favorite grinders.
Anyways, I was stunned that this deck made it past the first 2-3 wins. I literally had planned on deleting it after getting the achievement. Highest payoff for the absolute lowest effort in terms of deck building hahaha.
