The original version had Time instead of Primal - I used Stronghold Visage (for the obvious interaction with Molten Fist), a couple desert marshals, some purify, an amber alcolyte, some HotV - basically morphing my Time Armory deck into a Miner's Musket version of armory.

What actually happened was barely any consistency (somehow). I cut Time completely for Primal - I need more card draw and Hailstorm was an easy swap. In the meantime, I lost Reforge, which I love, and Stronghold Visage, which definitely saved me a few times.

What I did get was a lot more consistency.

I really wanted to use Miner's Musket, but the best deck for the musket might still be some kind of Rakano rush with Icaria and Kaleb, Uncrowned Prince.

LOL - miner's musket is one of those cards that I find very versatile, it's a 2 power Heart of the Vault that can help with aggro and curve. I was thinking about a Rakano rush deck with the Musket and some 5 mana Jekk's in there, but I only have 1. The cradle idea seems interesting, but cradle has always been high variance to me - you either play cradle early and maybe do well, or lose by the time you find it.

Normally, I wouldn't disagree. I don't necessarily disagree here, either. Between the crests, musket, and strategize, I have not been unable to play. More than likely, since Hailstorm is only a 2-of, that might be the easiest way to get 2 Seek Power in, if you wanted it - I haven't really had a need for Hailstorm, truly, on account of the artisans, musket, and sword of icaria for early game.
