SLUMBERING STONE IS A REALLY GOOD CARD(!?)

I shamelessly copied the core of this deck from Sir Rhino's "Means to a Combo". I haven't crafted enough of Omens' (better...?) Legendaries to move in on Means to an End, but the core of the deck looked sweet!

I really was sleeping on the interaction between Vara and Slumbering Stone, and throwing Tyrant in their makes it really silly. Not even sure you need Means to combo if you are saccing Reapers along the way.

Haven't tried Direwood Prowler, but I can imagine it being solid. I saw it as more of combo-piece, and I wanted to take the deck in a more midrangey direction.

2 Annihilates as extra removal for Steward of the Past. These could be Suffocates.

Dredger really surprised me, sweet card. This deck seems to have a decent aggro matchup, you have enough random blockers early and heavy lifegain in the late game. Flying over Oni Roninuses with Dredger to erect Slumbering Stone defenses gives you great inevitability, whilst giving you a wealth of sac fodder and Tyrant fuel.

My favourite strategy against control decks/Armory is reanimating the same Umbren Reaper 5 times. There's plenty of potential for that here.

This deck really surprised me by the power of the sacrifice package. Try it for yourself if you enjoy a good Vara reanimation chain!

The Shadowlands Guide from Rhino's list made the Infernal Tyrant Combo even better. If you have a Tyrant, Guide and Slumbering Stone in the void and one Vara in play, when you play a single dude you get Guide -> Stone -> Tyrant -> Guide -> Stone -> ?. If you have a second Tyrant you can start the loop again.
