The initial idea for a deck like this came to me by wanting to play around with
Scrapfind Skimmer (atm i only play 2 of them, maybe gonna change the two Azindels for two more). The deck is still work in progress (especially in quantity of certain cards that really only need to be played 2-3 times and not 4, so still needs some finetuning). Even tough its just a fundeck, turn 4/5
Valiant Guardian or
Great-Kiln Titan can be pretty common with this deck- which delays opponents control decks by a LOT, often leading to a scoop. Of course a problem can be hyperaggrodecks that aim to kill you around turn 3-5. You can still win these matchups with a good start (what we really like to see in the opening hand is: a way to get two shadow and two time influence for both
Grasping at Shadows and
Stirring Sands; since we play quite some vows and
Sporefolk we love that
Arcanum Hourglass in hand as well as at least one discard option for also at least one of our big bois).
As were gonna have a lot in the grave as the game goes on im experimenting with
Deleph's Awakening to get some nice draws and preventing us from running out of our deck (very handy against mill decks- since were a self-mill deck -> draws for days)
Of course the big weakness of this deck are cards like
Adjudicator's Gavel or
Turn to Seed -> seeds will have a problem tough when our
Valiant Guardian makes it cost 8+ (maybe even 12+, since once we really get rolling we might have multiple of our big bois out) ;)
The market is just pretty random atm (just realised i had some struggles against some decks that develop a board where its hard to even bring units onto the board- my nightmare here definitly
Makkar's Stranger, so i just put in a buunch of shadow-boardclears, including the new promo-card)
Since this is the first time i upload a deck id love some feedback (of course no pressure, just feel free)- just that i see where i can personally improve and maybe even learn some new tricks for deckbuilding...ENJOY :D
