This is my latest Argenport Control which has served me pretty well early this season before it burst onto the scene at the ETS the same week. As usual you can learn all about the deck and the card choices as well as see it in action in my deck tech series here:
Deck Tech
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
Hi ManuS, I'm thinking of crafting this. I just need 2 x SOTSK and EOTS. Would you consider this to be competitive deck in the current Meta? I am currently ranked Diamond 3 and need something to push me to masters. Thoughts?
The dude built his own ap control before you posted yours iirc it had 1x Makto he didn’t post it cause it was unfinished but he played it in his stream so dont flame him brother
he didn't coem up with the archetype. people have been trying to make argenport control a thing for god knows how long. my deck has nothing to do with him. I build this on my own the week before it showed up as most played deck in the ETS. no idea when he started playing AP Control. I think I know best who has anything to do with the decks I work on unless you can read minds soemhow. If someones work has to do with my decks I credit them. if not I don't. pretty simple.
it's alright.
neither of us invented argenport control nor did i claim it int he video. dunno who tried it first after the changes him or me but honestly what does it matter. props to him trying experimenting with it and succeeding with it. he made a post about hitting rank 1 on here at the 14th (i checked. and he likely played it a while before that) and I streamed it on the 10th (build it the day before) hitting rank 3 or so. but unless he credits me (which he didn't) I would not assume our decks are related. trying control in color combinations that have control tools is not really something that nobody thinks of trying. so plenty of people happen to try similar things at similar times. i am just tired of people crying wolf every time some deck resembles another one as if somehow only one person int he world could come up with idea X and everyone else must have copied them if they do sth similar. especially when you know there are only so many options to consider for a controld eck in those colors so u automatically end up with like 90% the same deck anyway. the differences in these cases are the details. and as you can see from the dates above when i post a deck it likely is alrdy weeks old (in this case 2) because i wont make a deck tech until i have a version that i am happy with and consider fairly final.
thanks. good luck in case you take it for a spin.
if you haven't watched the deck tech yet it will give u soem further insight into the background and make up of the list.
